Note from the Advisor
Welcome to the new, and very different, Cat's Eye! As a staff, we are both proud and excited to share this longstanding tradition in a reimagined way. I have to give a huge shout-out to my predecessor, Gwen Hogan, for all of her support and wisdom. She has been incredibly generous in this transition. Thank you, Ms. Hogan!
To the students, staff and VAHS community at a large, we sincerely hope that you we will feel, as we do: Unprecedented times call for ingenuity, flexibility and innovation. I commend this year's Cat's Eye staffers for their nimble response to the immense challenges posed. Not only have we had to adapt the form of the product--print to web--but the process of creating it. Without ever having met in person, we have managed to make something pretty darn cool. Thanks for figuring this out with me, you guys! You make the extra effort so worthwhile, and seeing you come together to make this happen has been the highlight of my first year at VAHS.
Finally, we thank anyone and everyone who has supported us on this maiden voyage. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Keep that support comin'! From the bottom of my heart, I hope we have delivered. I hope you feel we've done you justice in representing this community. I hope that we have lived up to our tagline: Eye of the Wildcats. And, most of all, I hope that the Cat's Eye will help us all to feel a little closer to each other.
